Crop Top Sewing Pattern

How To Sew A Crop Top:

Step 1: Cut out your pattern pieces. You should have two front pieces, two back pieces, and four bias tape pieces (two for the front and two for the back).

Step 2: With right sides together, sew the front pieces together at the center front seam. Repeat with the back pieces.

Step 3: With right sides together, sew the front and back pieces together at the side seams.

Step 4: Fold the bias tape in half lengthwise, with wrong sides together, and press. With right sides together, sew the bias tape to the neckline and armholes of the front and back pieces.

Step 5: Press the bias tape away from the garment and topstitch along the edge of the bias tape.

Step 6: To create the halter ties, fold two bias tape pieces in half lengthwise with right sides together and sew the long edge. Turn the ties right side out and press.

Step 7: Attach the halter ties to the back of the top by sewing each tie to the top at the back neckline. Tie the halter ties at the back of the neck to complete your crop top.
