Baby Jacket Sewing Pattern

Description

Materials
- 1 yard of outer fabric
- 1 yard of lining fabric
- 1/4 yard of coordinating fabric for pockets
- 1/2 yard of fusible interfacing
- 1 separating zipper
- Thread in coordinating colors
- Scissors
- Pins
- Iron and ironing board
- Sewing machine
Pattern Sizes
The pattern comes in sizes 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, and 9-12 months.
How To
- Cut out all pieces according to the pattern instructions.
- Apply fusible interfacing to the wrong side of the outer fabric and lining fabric pieces.
- With right sides together, sew the pocket pieces to the outer fabric front pieces.
- Attach the zipper to the front pieces, right sides together.
- Sew the front and back pieces together at the shoulders and sides.
- Hem the sleeves and bottom of the jacket.
- Sew the lining pieces together at the shoulders and sides, leaving a gap at the bottom for turning.
- With right sides together, sew the lining to the outer fabric at the neck and sleeves.
- Turn the jacket right side out through the gap in the lining.
- Sew the lining gap closed.
