Sewing Patterns For DIY Fabric Flower Bouquets And Arrangements
Okay fam, listen up, because we got something real special for you today. We found the best way to make some absolutely gorgeous fabric flowers, and we know y'all are gonna love them. These babies are perfect for weddings, or any fancy occasion where you wanna add a little something extra to your outfit.
How to Make the Flowers
First things first, gather up all your supplies. You'll need:
- Fabric (duh) - we like silky or flowy stuff for this
- Scissors
- Needle & thread
- Hot glue gun
- Button or bead for the center
Got everything? Good. Now let's get started:
- Cut out circles from your fabric. The size and number depend on how big you want your flower to be, but we recommend using at least 5 circles.
- Thread your needle and tie a knot at the end.
- Take one of your circles and fold it in half.
- Fold it in half again, so it's a quarter circle.
- Take your needle and thread and start sewing through the bottom of the folded edge (see photo below).
Keep sewing through the folded edge of each circle, adding more and more circles as you go.
Once you have all your circles sewn together, you should have something that looks like this:
Now, take your button or bead and hot glue it into the center of your flower.
And voila! You've just made yourself a beautiful fabric flower.
Tips & Tricks
Here are a few things we learned while making these flowers:
- Silky or flowy fabric works best for this project.
- Try mixing different colors or patterns for a unique look.
- If you don't have a button or bead for the center, you can cut out a small circle from your fabric and glue it in.
- Experiment with different sizes and shapes of circles to create different styles of flowers.
- If you don't want to sew the circles together, you can also try using fabric glue or a hot glue gun.
So there you have it, folks. The best way to make some seriously stunning fabric flowers. Trust us, once you start making these, you won't be able to stop. They're just too darn pretty!
